Second Issue Release Date Finalized!
The second issue will be officially released at Sound & Vision Recording Studio’s End of Summer Art Event!

Deadlines, schmeadlines.
We’ve received several e-mails regarding the “deadline” to sumbit to the second issue. We would really like to have everything in by the end of June. That would give us about a month for editing, layout, photocopying, stapling, etc.

October 2, 2010 - We’ll be taking the first and second issues of Cupboards to Madison this fall, so mark your calendars!
Call for submissions!
We’re now accepting submissions for the second issue of Cupboards!
Due to the cost of printing, we’re working with a limited amount of space, so please e-mail your submissions to us as soon as possible. We’re also looking for artwork, so if you have an idea for the cover design, let us know.

What's Cupboards, you ask?
Cupboards is a homemade magazine out of Rock Island, Illinois.
By “homemade,” we mean that content is cut out and pasted onto white multi-purpose paper, photocopied, then folded and stapled for your enjoyment.
We’re open to include anything that’s submitted. The first issue contains short fiction and various articles (i.e. on gardening, recipes, music, crafts, coffee...
